PIKO 21044Novelty 2026: With the Class 1067, true rarities were in service at the 'BB between 1961 and 1994. Only one prototype and four additional units of these electric locomotives were ever built. They were equipped with a technical peculiarity: an electro-hydraulic drive. Built by the Jenbacher Werke with a central cab, the locomotives were used in shunting service and could be seen in either fir green or blood-orange livery. The drive concept, which was strongly based on diesel locomotives, proved prone to defects and damage, so production was not continued. The Class 1067.03, the last active unit, was retired on October 1, 1994. Today, two of the locomotives can still be admired in the Knittelfeld and Ampflwang railway museums.nFine-meshed scissor pantograph made of metal, mounted without visible screws | Detailed cooling system in the front with a free-standing fan | Detailed chassis with numerous add-on parts | Three-light headlight with red tail lamps, changing with the driving direction in analog operation and digitally switchable | Driver''s desk lighting; analog on when running, otherwise digitally switchable | Additional digital lighting functions such as shunting signal and optionally switchable head and tail lights | Suitable PSD XP Sound Decoder: #56649 | Baseplate with track representation and matching accessories, such as brake lines, coupling hooks, and coupling cover, for display in a showcasen
